Rain continues here with little hope of easing in the short term. We exceeded our yearly rainfall in the first three months of the year. In May 12 of the 14 days so far have been wet. Conditions not experienced since 1917, 1954 and 1974 for the East Coast. On the bright side we have serviced all our machinery and small motors like chainsaws, blowers and hedge trimmers so that when it stops raining we should be able to cut ourselves out of the jungle. Cattle are not happy but hanging in there. Every day I tell myself “thank God we are not milking cows”.
