You’re right of course. The party, LNP, needs a good flogging and then needs to resurrect itself in a voteable form.

Keeping someone from the right in charge will backfire i mmediately. They need, as stated, a people friendly face that understands the needs and wants of the population and the country as a whole across a broad platform.

Thats going to need quite a few others to make up that new face, who are sympathetic to the needs.

I think they will be out for at least 3 terms if ALP and others can get their act together. ALP for one needs to lose the LNP policy mimic at the first budget and go it’s own way. With clear direction and policies that grow the country.

They have a long road to travel.
