I am no expert on the price that TER use for the sales, to be honest i am little confused. As long as they are getting good a good price i guess!
I recall the announcement related to the US$60 million prepayment that the coals to be applied to the prepayment will be indexed to the API4.
I also recall somebody saying ages ago on these forums (it is hearsay and my dodgy memory) that TER use the Newcastle Index, but need to apply a discount to the current price due to the quality from Blair Athol is only 5500 vs 6000.
The most recent announcement from today, they have a footnote stating that TER use either Newcastle Index or API4.
