Based on number of registered participants I couldn't see any settlement amount exceeding $50M - just a guess on my part though.
And that is even if there is a settlement. The case itself (as laid out) seems difficult for the plaintiffs to establish. So they are banking on the company paying for this to "go away", whereas I don't sense much urgency on the part of the company to do this. The addition of a third case across the Tasman probably just complicates things further for the all the plaintiffs and delays proceedings even longer.
