I followed the live stream yesterday closely and it was awesome. There were just two single person who were negatively biased about the topic. Most of the members of the city council were positiv or at least open to the topic.
"Grüne" and "Freie Wähler" and "Linke" were stating that they are positive to the topic, CDU was also mainly positive but said that more information is needed (also the mayor of Landau is from CDU), SPD was also more like "open but need more infos". FDP was also pretty positive about the topic.
Looks good so far. Also the possibility that there will be a pipeline between Landau and Insheim would be awesome. Vulcan could build one central DLE facility and use the flow out of both geothermal plants. This would maximize the flow rates as they will have four boreholes to utilize (2 in Landau, 1 in Insheim, third in Landau will be drilled). Also economies of scale would kick in here. Best is, that the lithium in the geothermal water of Landau and Insheim is already proven.
