I think one reason being most of the MLS holders being retail investors and are more prone to significant market movements.
Also a lot of traders in place in my opinion - Some companies with major cornerstone shareholders (e.g. Sayona's Piedmont Lithium) are less likely to see this happening as they are ones solely interested in owning part of the company rather than trading their shares for a profit.
