If they can prove they can produce product even if at a lower % of K , then maybe they can get an offtake agreement with a farming coop in WA that would be prepared to put down say $10M if they could get the product at half the price they would be paying for K at the current high spot price.
Think a start up kiwi company did similar with bringing in rock phosphate about 25 years ago
