You read my mind. I dislike the format of VGIs presentations, especially the lack of engagement by Rob, and over reliance on the managers under him to explain their investment thesis. I understand it would be extremely hard, given their horrendous track record to inspire confidence - but it's Groundhog Day when you listen. I hope they don't persist with those types of presentations if there is nothing new to add.

I think 99% of investors share your sentiment of never buying at a premium, or into a float (especially the float). You would have to present something very special to the market to get any interest in a closed fund at the moment.
