It all relates back to the Liberal pre selection process, and the internal factional voting numbers. it's such a grubby business. Democracy should extend to the internal machinations of the Party, and not just on polling day. Internal jostling and bullying and dirty tactics is not democracy. The Libs need to review the internal workings of the party so they stop the over representation of far right leaning candidates. Unless they address this they will be in the doldrums until they do. The biggest concern IMO from the election is the rise in the One Nation vote, but I do sense that it will be an anomaly of this election and not continue.
