Yep I get you now - by greenies you meant the crazy disruptive/not in the real world ones, not the political party - I guess we need a vocabulary to distinguish between the different types seeing as Im a left leaning green minded person myself I would definitely want to distance myself from them the same way as the conservatives have done with the alt-right:

-the greens: political party
-greenies: the general population that is for climate action
-alt-left: anti-progress and unrealistic with respect to the real world, the ones who block traffic and would probably cause the death of millions of humans directly with energy/food shortages if they were in control.
