By voting out Labor, mostly because of the Carbon Tax, by a very hefty margin, the nation showed what they thought was in the best interests of the nation. What Labor thought was very much irrelevant.
When the effects of the new carbon tax start to be felt, IMO there is a very strong chance that the nation will suffer a fair bit of voter remorse.
We are heading into very stormy seas in an economic sense and job losses caused by Labors new carbon tax will not go down well.
All pain and no gain to solve an imaginary problem.
