Under the consitution he was unable to fulfil his duty and seeing what had just happened to Yanukovich the parliament accepted the new reality and saved their own skins - a win/win at the time.

Many of those parties that "supported" ousting Yanukovich are now banned in Ukraine since the recent invasion....

The Ukrainian voted him into power because he promised to join the EU then he decide not to sign and even worst cosy up with Putin......what did he expected would happen??? He was just a pawn for Putin.
