I’ll throw in my speculative 2c
Gilly runs a consultancy on the side where he provides advice to explorers/early stage miners
two points
1) this highlights that this is area of expertise - not the next leg i.e. scaling to production and/or acquisition
2) competiting interests. It’s difficult to get a project of this scale to production without a) conflict of interest and b) juggling priorities/workflow
it just makes business sense to bring a big wig in at this stage of SHP’s cycle.
