thank you very much for your detailed post.For myself I view your post through the prism of history.Yes stage 1 is total focus on 'land banking' using old world terminology. Land banking is customer acquisition. The last few years have encouraged this approach, as the market was focused on sales growth/terminal growth what ever regardless of both cost of acquisition and marginal future profitability.We are now moving past this stage, the market is dictating alternative measurements. This 'moving past the stage' is not the choice of TYR, it's being dictated to them by the macro market.The difference I potentially see between TYR and ZIP, is that TYR still has the chance to create a real business out of this. Why? because the product is differentiated from the 'big 4' by their interlink to:*POS providers*self ordering kiosks*internalized banking system (yes TYR has a basic banking license). This enables TYR to provide banking services, such as business loans (which the big4 banks absolutely suck at for small and mid sized businesses).I could be very wrong on this long term. I took a very very small 1st position at $1.10 (and already 10% underwater in less than a month)But as a 'end customer' representing more than 100 outlets across Australia, I can tell you that the big 4 do not help my situation, they are a resentful no choice but try to adapt solution providers.I am using TYR in some of my outlets now, mainly because of the integrated evolution of payment terminals to POS to ordering self ordering kiosks to self ordering table ordering, to google order take away.Struggling with all this new integration and new payment mechanisms, but putting it out there that TYR is now part of my system.
