What are the takeover rules for the ASX. Would YAL have to respect them?
$Yancoal Australia(03668)$ @red Deer Night Wolf : If the holdings are increased for the purpose of delisting (privatization), then (1) the transaction price needs to have a considerable premium (30% or higher) to the closing price. (2) In addition to the consideration of convertible bonds, cash payment must be provided as an alternative. Neither of these two conditions is met, indicating that it is only a targeted acquisition of some shares, and there is no such thing as delisting.
