happy new year mst! it's a gem.

Just got back from nearly 3 weeks holiday overseas where MST was relegated to not be thought about. Todays announcement is a nice homecoming surprise and is a far better deal than ASHL would have been even if they had not been fraudsters. The new deal gives current shareholders and other new investors opportunity to top up at their own discretion as MST gains successes. Of course GEM is going to do very well out of it with their options and fees if MST does as well as we all hope, but so they should. A full blown takeover by someone will now be a little more difficult and would most likely engender a large rise in the sp.

I am pleased that I have hung on to my relatively large investment in MST though I admit it was a bit of a worry. Whilst we may not see a large short term increase in the sp, my guess is that there will be an average increase over time as investors regain confidence that MST really is going somewhere, with occasional spikes as good announcements are made from time to time. Smart traders will do well on fluctuations. I look foward to recouping my investment and perhaps even making a profit.

As far as ASHL goes, I concur with Moosey that there was likely a hidden agenda there somewhere, though perhaps not just for financial control but possibly even to disrupt the company, cause it to fail and impede further development of weapons for a substantial period of time. Fortunately that has not come to pass. It would bear investigation (give those ASIO guys something else to do)!
