I do agree with @Crom Valen that the recent rally was likely caused by lithium speculators. I've noticed the pattern across numerous small stocks - ALY, AAJ, WML etc. When there is a sniff of lithium they buy aggressively and then sell just as quickly when they lose interest, either due to a 'nothing to see here' speeding ticket response from the company concerned or disappointing Li drill results.
