I wouldn't be surprised to see lifetime warranties on batteries within 20 years or so
the technologies are racing ahead - and, for static installations - once the tech is very durable - there's not a lot to go wrong - ie. no vibration etc..
with the market being so huge (almost everyone has a home of some kind) - then, if you have the tech that will last - - one of your differentiations to other competitors will be warranty -
if they haven't got it and you have - you'll win - if they have got it and you haven't - you'll go broke
