    weird how in the old days it was the conservatives Abbott, Menzies etc who wanted to keep the royals and the radical left Turnbull, Lenin and Robespierre etc who wanted a republic, now the conservatives are the radicals who want to depose the king, and bring in a "strong moralistic church and state" general Franco style.
