AUSTRALIA'S largest general insurer, QBE, is poised to deliver a big recovery in full-year profit following a surge in the performance of one of its big offshore profit spinners.
Documents filed with British regulators for QBE International Holding (UK) PLC show the business generated an unaudited net profit of 522 million ($A917 million) in the nine months to the end of September.
