Brenden, totally agree.
The difference between ramping (up and down) and constructive posts (for or against), is CONTENT.
HC threads are always going to have a selection bias that is greatly in favour of the company in question. Hardly surprising, because holders have got a much greater interest in participating in the discussion than non-holders. And holders, being holders, are usually bullish on their own stock.
So I have no problem with those who have a negative outlook. If they post technical analysis showing downtrends, or fundamental analysis showing over-valued assets, fine.
But, that tends not to happen.
I guess the other thing is that contentless posts that are negative get noticed and objected to more often that positive posts lacking in content - we show more tolerance to pro-stock ramps than we do anti-stock downramps :)
