I learnt decades ago never hold shares till the end but get the majority of the loss on the books early and then trade and punt if there is opportunoity but always get teh loss early as it can be carried forward and any trading can then be tax free even in same stock. That way only small $ is ever involves in frozen or delisted shares. hasn't always worked but the way it goes

Good luck and may you avoid IMO scams and hype in the future as you have now seen IMO some classic warning signs..
