Well its all quiet on the western front. I am not a patient man to say the least although have been in this stock for more than 3 years now which is a rarity for me. So I am very much ready for some action and news.
But the company says no news for another month or two. CC is on holidays, hopefully in Kalgoorlie or maybe even in a hotel near the Pala headquarters. Most likely in a quiet resort somewhere. The word from IGR is simply that associated with moving towards production, finalising the nasty bank requirements and getting the mine construction underway. All normal stuff. With regard to all takeover talk its all quiet on the western front where the IGR bunker is. ie NO Comment.
Looking at the turnover lately its certainly large on a historical bases. Is it just recent acquirers at 25 taking a profit or is it a bit manipulated. The 1 mil plus at 27 and 28.5 keeps IGR in a definite range that tests my patience.
The takeover talk is on many lips, even reaching page 34 of yesterdays Financial Review. I heard from a broker last month that Avoca in doing their presentation had a big circle of the area near Kalgoorlie where they thought there should be an ammalgamation of interests. IGR ground was in that circle but they would not comment on a IGR takeover when asked. As if they would. If there was a takeover you would think it would be in their interest to do so prior to IGR getting too involved in their spending of their cash. I guess they would try and put to bed the takeover of Diora first so just maybe that will pick up some speed very soon. My gut tells me something will happen sooner than later. They would not want IGR to get too advanced in their spending.
IGR management are very quiet on this matter. Either do not want to touch the subject or just maybe its as they say in that they know nothing. But if they did they certainly could not comment or could they. An interesting debate really. Is it in the shareholders interest to keep quiet or to inform at every turn. Is the takeover in the shareholders interest anyway. The Diora sp is a lot higher now than at the very start of the takeover. I would like to see that percentage growth in IGR sp.
So we are in a very interesting period from here to production or takeover. I love it and hate it. But certainly staying a shareholder.
Well sorry to take your time . Just really talking to myself. Just shows that this stock is sending me mad.
