CSL does some manufacturing onshore and offshore. Something we can be proud of.
Australia should be compared to OECD countries with 15-35 million populations. Say Canada, Chile, Netherlands, Poland... We are probably in the middle of that pack. Could do more manufacturing, but not doing as badly as it seems on face value.
