I'm not sure that's a great comparison metric Saltpetie. If you have 2 open Pits at the same depth, one with say 5 sq kms plan area and the other 20 sq kms plan area and both same ounces, the former has 4 times the concentration and therefore by far a superior proposition.
Perhaps a better comparison metric may be ounces per metre depth per sq km ??
