This is a rubbish article . The gas companies have spent many billions on development in recent years , and just like any other business , they are entitled to write off expenses .These companies were first hit by Covid induced low oil prices and had serious cost over runs . These companies are now paying tax as the write offs have been depleted . Companies like WDS and BHP and more established producers are paying taxes and have been for years .
