History is littered with examples of big business using its influence and money to stymie or suppress progression of new technology, or using fear to sway public opinion through corrupt media outlets.
A few examples are obviously the great Nicola Tesla and also the prohibition of marijuana.
Following on from what I said earlier about vaccines, i believe ResApp technology could be in the same boat here. Pfizer have invested a LOT into vaccines, and are set to make trillions more from their continued use in the future. An app that can tell you instanly with a high degree of accuracy in you have covid or not most definately would persuade many people into not injecting some unknown, untested bioweapon into their body over and over.
I cannot say what i really think of these dogs (Pfizer) due to legal ramifications, but rest assured they are not on my christmas card list.

Are we seeing history repeat, or do Pfizer really want the tech to help humanity?

Pfizers track record speaks volumes when considering the answer to this question.
