IMO, today's drop was simple profit taking. Nervous investors wanting to take some money off the table in the uncertain economic climate.
But US data suggests that inflation is slowing and there are signs that the same is happening here (perhaps not Europe). Growth stocks, and biotech stocks in particular, should recover over the next few months, barring an(other) unforeseen global event.
