This is all to do with the declared value for customs export. Its too easy for companies to put a false declared value to avoid taxes and port levies. This cross the board export declared value of $53 per kg is simply a taxation value put on all lithium exports to ensure the coutry is recieving a more favorable tax and levie income.
this does not effect the sale price in anyway, only the value at which the export tax is calculated.
its a good thing for Argentina and good to see they are taking lithium export seriously. More money and a more transparent industry for AGY to grow in and for investors to invest in.
