Have been popping into the CNQ thread for a few months now with an intent to buy in the low 50s, and here we are. It's reassuring knowing that the business doesn't have any long term loans/debt that would carry an interest rate risk, particularly in this environment.
I agree with the majority in this thread, it's undervalued. Noting that it does tend to get dragged down with the markets during days of decline, my hypothesis is that the index has at least one more move lower which would ultimately bring CNQ down to its all time low of 50c (first week of trading). Technically speaking, the buy set up is quite clean. Happy to take any feedback.
