Ofcourse it affects the share price - i've seen it happen a dozen times on Hotcopper over the last 6 or 7 years. A good one was on the Yowie forum when someone posted that we lost the Walmart contract (which was false) and the share price tanked and then the company had to issue a statement to bring the share price back up.

I do not care about that - what I care about is that amateur investors will read his comment and buy or sell based on that. The poster is implying that there is something fundamentally wrong when he knows nothing at all. Firstly, it is illegal. Secondly, it is immoral. It is normal to turn bearish after selling a stock - but comments like his need to be called out. Posters have more influence on here than they realize.
