My understanding of Wednesdays off market action was one big seller, with the shares placed with various retail clients of a broker (not sure about institutional clients). So, don't think you're getting a major accumulator at work.
Still, AEC looks well overlooked by the market.
Whilst there seems to be a million engineering construction and consultanting firms servicing the mining industry, I can't see that many providing laboratory type services (AEC and CPB being the obvious ones). The ramp up in exploration (especially in WA) should keep them very busy.
It looks like AEC's engineering subsidiary, Marc Technologies, is what's holding them back at the moment, but Marc should also turn the corner as more mining projects move to the development phase.
