The contract with SYR is for peanut amounts of graphite. Do you read anything or do you just post? SYR will eventually produce more, but not entire-tesla-line-per-year amounts. SYR's first contract is capable of supplying... about 10% of Tesla's needs if it were fully operational today. It isnt, and wont be until 2025-2026, iirc.
Tesla has literally stated that they will prefer to source things locally, whenever and wherever possible. There is a reason why Mark Thompson is putting that car in full view.
