@Justis - I don't know if I caught 'it' from @NoBoDe, but I am suspicious of programs via computers which can control every aspect of the place in which you live your life. I do not even sync my mobile to my computer - in the past i found that when i did searches for goods to buy, or just from curiosity, ads would pop up on my phone all the time, which can be a total nuisance.

I remember being shocked when I watched a good friend proudly showing off his 'Alexa' who he could just give a voice command to across the room to select and play a certain piece of music. It struck me, that if you forgot to turn 'Alexa' off, when finished listening to music, it could be used as a spying-device. Not that I think that my life is worthwhile spying on - but I do remember tales my mother told me, when neighbours spied on each other and reported to 'the Nazi government' when someone was listening to a foreign radio station - often with dire consequences to the listener - this is probably happening in Russia right now mad.png

I don't feel flattered that my searches etc. are followed by computer programs and are able to predict my likes or dislikes and presents me options, all gleaned from basically spying on me.

I am glad I am no longer in the work force, because one would need to be in command of all this technology, which, no doubt, is very helpful. But I feel there is a fine line between helpfulness and giving away too much information to an unknown entity.
    Go well
