"I am now here in sending you a copy of my brief on our last reconciliations which was held in Pakia Village. I have already sent you some of the photos of this reconciliation.
With about 90% of our PLA reconciliations complete we are now waiting on some more funding from ABG to conduct our elections of the executives of PLA. The president will be here next week and I will be approaching him with two requests,
1. To release funding for the PLA elections
2. To speed up the BCA review through the JBS meeting. The next one will be in New Ireland Province in February "
If all things work out nicely with PLA reconciliations and PLA elections finished lets say end of Feb. there would be the chance the next JSB meeting could give green lights for the renegotiation of the Bougainville Copper Agreement (BCA). Would be an amazing announcement by BOC or even by Rio Tinto! Lets keep fingers crossed!
