Will the shorts even be able to close that many?
DW already said he suspects most funds would have anticipated us dropping out before March rebalancing.
How many will be dropping? And how many others will be buying, along with the shorts.
Look at what happened when another biotech was kicked in March - shorts dropped roughly 25% (from 8-6%) and the share price increased dramatically the following week (though is getting hammered again, but very fundamentally different company).
This is going to be an interesting couple of weeks, especially if any news drops.
