- the reason why I became aware of it, was because we had an argument about music, specifically 'The Wedding March' - Here comes the Bride . . . .he claimed Wagner wrote it, I claimed Mendelssohn wrote it and we had a ding-dong argument over it.
anyway, my friend kept shouting at Alexa, who didn't understand his German accent - it was actually very funny, because he was so proud of this wonderful innovation - but we don't make fun of our friends, just a quiet chuckle in retrospect
(pssst: I was right, but suspect both composer picked a then popular tune and made it their own)
