Thanks Birdman. Appreciate you sharing that. It does look like investors are thinking “oh no, EPS is coming back to $1.80 in 22/23 once the covid turbocharge is gone, let’s get out”. But as Chella observes, even that diminished EPS still looks fine relative to current share price. My understanding is that the base business will continue to steadily grow. I’m assuming the 6% forecast reduction in Australian pathology in 22/23 relates to the covid bonus subsiding. With the buyback continuing (supporting EPS going forward) and some prospects for further buybacks and/or acquisitions, a share price in the mid 30’s for such a quality company seems like a “buy” to me.
