acer1964, My comment was not directed at you personally. I had a business for 25 years and ate fish paste sandwiches for the first 5, so to me education and targeted spending is good, but indiscriminate spending is very costly and unproductive. The stimulus was good for retail but many other small businesses still struggle. Where I live (rural) there is a sign on the local primary school fence - Julia Gillard - whatever, and they have built a covered walkway from the car park to the school buildings. Beats me if that is an education revolution.
