The outrageous senseless spending in my country town on ripping up and rebuilding in school yards was a complete waste of money. The stimulus package went pretty much all to China, India, Taiwan etc - isn't that where they make all the plasma TV's. Unless you drank XXXX or VB or went to a local brothel - most of the money went out of the country.
Further - I know a lot of farmers who didn't get the stimulus package and if anyone needed it they did after years of hard times, drought and fire.
Go figure. Rudd the Dudd - and as someone said - the kids will be paying for it for the rest of their lives.
I'm with PattyP what is more and getting out of all equities. I'm not the slightest bit bullish - I'm just sitting here waiting for the proverbial to hit the fan and when my parameters are met I'll go short until they change.
