Levelized Cost of Energy already assumes that time is extended over the life of the project.
Therefore there is no need to produce a time weighted average on a daily basis.

The sun doesn't shine at night and the wind doesn't blow all the time.

Batteries are integral to the operation of wind/solar on a 24/7 levelized basis.
Batteries are not integral to the operation of coal/gas/nuclear on a 24/7 levelized basis.

Transmission cost is almost identical between renewables and coal/gas/nuclear, so there's no real need to worry about the differences it causes.

The wind doesn't blow all the time.
Therefore batteries are needed.
Resultantly the cost of wind power is greater then coal/gas/nuclear.
