How is it a waste of time and energy? They're asking for public comment. We're members of the public.
I don't live too far from the region, and I care about the environment. I just don't have time for the amount of bureaucratic process/red tape that seems to be involved in this seemingly extremely straightforward approval.
That's not wasting EPA time.
On the flip side, some of the people advocating for a full assessment in the name of protecting the Carnaby could in fact be PEC holders or PEC directors. What would then make their public comments any more valid than ours?
