The Coaltion made things so bad that the RBA forewarned of the interest rate hikes to come. Jim Chalmers spoke clearly and honestly today and dealt with questions from the media and pointed out that in spite of the challenges caused during the term of the Morrison govt the strategy by the Albanese Labor govt will be to increase productivity and grow the economy.
What I found interesting is that later the Liberal Opposition spokesperson whose name escapes me came up with a statement trying to ridiculously blame Labor for the interest rate rise. The telling point was when he concluded he said he was happy to take questions and there was this awkward silence. He appeared stunned no-one wanted to ask any questions and he left.
No-one was interested in wasting time asking the fool anything. It struck me that basically the Opposition was now that light on in talent they had become a non event.
