Khoutam - that slide you reference regarding costs has been superceded by recent comments from Wilbert himself.
Wilbert mentioned that the cost to produce is as much as DRAM.

So Texs thoughts are spot on. And the "proof" you seem to be forgetting about came directly from Wilbert himself

Texs point is that no one will invest and purchase the technology if they can just get DRAM for as much $/Gb.
Power savings are not a strong enough argument.
Going green is not a strong enough argument - just purchase renewable energy to power the data centre.
Endurance on DRAM is big enough to outlast the retention gains on 4DS. DRAM lasts over 10 years cycling every 60 milliseconds.
After 10 years big business upgrade to the latest DRAM anyway.
Endurance on 4DS is only 10^7 remember. DRAM is 10^15.
So right now it's too expensive to secure mass production. But mass production is exactly what it needs to help reduce costs per Gb.
A key question the astute investor may ask of the BoD is, do you expect $/Gb will come down in future and how would that be achieved?
i expect the answer is probably yes. Same thing happened with nand.
