Dale was a bit nervous, imo, still pretty good - he will loosen up as his confidence grows. He's taken on a big job; he has big shoes to fill. Hey: You're going to sing straight after Pavarottiwould you be nervous?
He's human, and still reasonably young. He will become more 'definite' and do his presos with more 'authority' as time passes. KB will be around to counsel him and the board. These things only make a small difference, and are temporary.
It might have been the airport lighting, but to me, KB did not look well. Hopefully just tired on some crappy international long haul flight situ. I do sincerely hope that he is 'all good'.
