Look at it,
Australian Strategic Materials Limited (ASM) floated on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) on Thursday, 30 July 2020.
They started shorting the day after.
Look at the time lines, so you mean to tell me that the day after the listing they took future delays into account, that management wasn't any good, that covid hit, etc etc etc and that's why they started shorting it?
It's what shorters do, they did not see opportunity in the fundementals, they took a chance on a stock, and because its tightly held they exploited it.
