in a typical oversupplied market you would be correct.
The dynamic vanadium market moving forward is in a structural deficit.
So when VRFB are more profitable for vanadium miners and the steel market comes knocking and wants vanadium cheap what do you think will happen? the miners will say pay up or get lost.
The VRFB demand is forecasting 110% increase in demand per year until 2031.

Your approach is not forward thinking and you are living in the past.
Evolve with technology and opportunities then present themselves invest and profit.
TNG will run up in share price in the next vanadium run so you will have an opportunity to sell your TNG investment to some other punter.
If you don't sell your TNG shares you are a fool.
