This is a brilliant move.
So many of us want to keep buying at these levels, but knowing BGs outstanding shares has kept us away.
Regardless of whether the company actually buys any shares or not, we now have a 4m share backing to support our buying, and limit further downside.
IMO this is absolutely appropriate use of funds when the board has an obligation to protect shareholder value. We know what another year of relentless selling would otherwise do, and it has nothing to do don’t the company’s ongoing excellent progress.
This is a great move for all holders.
