The Queensland Government is already getting a massive increase in royalties as it’s linked to the price per tonne. Can’t see any increase helping develop more coal mines which are desperately needed. Which puts SMR in the box seat.

- Over $100 and up to and including $150
- First $100 – 7% of value
- Balance – 12.5% of value
- More than $150
- First $100 – 7% of value
- Next $50 – 12.5% of value
- Balance – 15% of value
