The amount of graphite on offer for this project, coupled with low cost and environmental advantages is highly appealing, but do they have the right type of graphite for battery anodes? SYR and RNU both have a much smaller graphite particle size, and are producing spherical graphite as a battery ready material. The SVM graphite is a much larger flake size, so needs to be further refined before it is battery ready. What type of offtake partner would SVM be looking for, as presumably the manufacturer isn't going to do this refining?
